All bookings are for the entire property to ensure you experience the full comfort and privacy of the estate. The accommodation includes our elegant four-bedroom farmhouse, three beautifully renovated vineyard rooms, and a charming two-bedroom historic coach house.
Each space has been thoughtfully designed to provide a serene and luxurious environment for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Conveniently located only 50 minutes drive from Cape Town Airport and 20 minutes from Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, and surrounded by some of the Cape Winelands’ culinary gems.
Rates, bookings & deposit policy
Nieuwe Sion Estate is available for exclusive-use bookings only, offering a private and immersive farm stay experience. Your reservation grants full access to the estate in its entirety: nine beautifully appointed en-suite rooms spanning the Farmhouse, Vineyard Rooms, and Historic Coach House. The swimming pool, tennis court, gardens, and every living space become a sanctuary reserved entirely for you and your guests.
We provide curated catering and hospitality, allowing your stay to unfold with ease. From leisurely breakfasts to long lunches beneath ancient trees, to fully hosted dinners or a private chef experience, each stay can be tailored to your preferences. Our seasonal menus are prepared in collaboration with a selected circle of exceptional chefs and culinary partners, bringing the finest of the region to your table.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 35 days prior to check-in.

The Farmhouse
The farmhouse offers four spacious and beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, along with a grand dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cosy library complete with a fireplace. A generous lounge, featuring a modern bar, provides a welcoming space to relax and gather.
Thoughtfully designed in a square layout, the farmhouse surrounds a tranquil central courtyard—perfect for sheltered outdoor dining and quiet moments of stillness. Guests also have access to two expansive patios with sweeping views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains, as well as a large garden, swimming pool, vegetable garden, and tennis court—making the farmhouse an ideal base for both relaxation and connection with the rhythms of farm life.

The Vineyard Rooms
The Vineyard Rooms comprise three private en-suite rooms, each with its own veranda overlooking the estate’s vineyards, towering oak trees, and surrounding mountain ranges. Thoughtfully appointed, each room includes a coffee machine, kettle, premium coffee pods, and a selection of teas—inviting guests to savour a quiet moment with a warm drink, either indoors or out on the patio.
Two of the rooms also feature a fireplace, adding an extra layer of comfort and charm, particularly during the cooler seasons.

Recently renovated, this character-filled cottage features two en-suite bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, and a spacious living area that opens onto a secluded patio with a built-in BBQ—framed by sweeping views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains.
